What is the Feeling Great App?

Feeling Great is a new mobile app inspired by the groundbreaking work of world-renowned Dr. David Burns. Using the power of our advanced AI-powered chatbot and interactive courses the app guides you through a transformative journey toward enhanced self-esteem and emotional well-being. The AI-powered chatbot talks to you about the issues you’re having, takes the time to truly learn about why it’s upsetting to you, and helps you challenge thoughts that may be causing you to feel down. The interactive courses are a series of lessons and exercises to teach you the basics of Dr. David Burns’ proprietary techniques that have proven to have long-lasting impacts on peoples’ joy and outlook on life.

What are the methods in the Feeling Great App based on?

The methods used within the Feeling Great app are based on Dr. David Burns’ work within the mental health space. He has spent the past 40 years working with people to get to the core of what upsets them and the cause behind their feelings. Through his work, he has developed a series of proven techniques that challenge the basis of negative thoughts and equip people with the skills they need to live a more fulfilling life.

Do I have to pay for the app?

Feeling Great is free to try. You’ll have some access to many of the great resources including the AI-powered chatbot and several interactive lessons. You can get full access to all of our lesson content and full use of our AI-powered chatbot with a 7 day free trial of our annual subscription.

Account and Profile

How do I create an account?

On the Account details screen, enter your email address, enter a password, re-enter the password, and click "Create account."

How do I reset my password?

1. From the Login screen, tap “Get a reset link.” 2. Enter your email and tap "Send reset link." 3. Locate the email with the subject "Reset your password for Feeling Good” 4. Click on the link, provide a new password, and click "Save."

How do I update my profile information?

1. Log into the app and click on the gear in the upper right-hand corner. 2. Tap "Edit Profile" to update your first name and/or last name.

What should I do if I forget my User ID (account email)?

Your account User ID is the email address in which you signed up. If you are logged into the app, please tap on the setting gear in the upper right corner, select "Edit Profile" and your User ID will be at the top. If you are logged out of the app and cannot remember your User ID, please launch the app and select "Log in" at the bottom of the screen. Under the password field, tap “get a reset link” and enter each email address that belongs to you. The correct email address will be known to the system and you will receive an email to reset your password in that account.

In what countries is the app available?

Currently, our app is exclusively available in the United States. We plan to expand to other countries in the coming months, though we do not have a specific timeline yet. Stay tuned for updates!

How do I use the AI Chatbot?

Launch the app, log in or sign up, from the home screen, tap “Let’s chat” to use the chatbot.

How do I access the lessons in the app?

Launch the app and login. From the home screen, tap "Start learning," "Next lesson" or "See all" to access the lessons in the app.

Can I customize the app's settings?

Yes! You may modify the speed for audio and video that’s most comfortable to you and your learning style in the app by going to settings (gear icon in the upper right-hand corner) and selecting the "Media Playback Speed."

How do I switch between different sections on the app?

The app has three sections that are all accessible from the home screen: 1. The AI Chatbot can be accessed by clicking on "Let’s chat" from the home screen. You can exit the chatbot by clicking the x in the top right-hand corner. 2. The learning content in the app can be accessed by clicking on "Start learning," "Next lesson" or "See All" in the bottom half of the home screen. You can exit the learning content by clicking the ‘X’ in the top right corner or the back arrow in the top left corner. 3. The setting screen can be accessed by clicking on the gear icon in the top right corner of the home screen. You can return to the home screen by clicking on the back arrow in the top left corner.

Privacy

How is my personal information protected?

Your name and account email address are encrypted and unreadable in the app’s database and all replications and reporting from the app’s database.

How can I control my privacy settings?

At this time, you may delete your account and all associated data by going to settings (upper right-hand gear) and selecting "Delete Account." You must enter your account password to delete your account.

Troubleshooting

The app is crashing/freezing. What should I do?

Force quit the app and re-launch. If the issue persists, please reboot your device and launch the app. If the app is still freezing or crashing, please contact us at support@feelinggreat.com.

How do I clear the cache or data from the app?

For Android users, force quit the app and open the device’s Settings and select "Apps." Tap on the app and select "Storage." Tap "Clear data." For iOS users, to clear all cached data and data on your device, you must delete the app and then reinstall it. Force quit the app. Locate and open Settings on your iPhone. Select "General." Tap on the section "iPhone Storage." Shortly, all apps and their storage usage will be listed. Choose the app and select "Delete App." Selecting "Offload app" will not clear all of the cache.

The app is not loading properly. What steps should I take?

Please log out of the app and log back in with the email that you signed up with. If the issue persists, please force quit that app and relaunch. If the issue still persists, please reboot your device. If that doesn’t resolve the issue, please contact support@feelinggreat.com.
